International HR Business Partner

To succeed the current HR Business Partner for these countries, we are asked to recruit for a successor who will be responsible for all HR related affairs in this region, including the support of both Business and Production Management, while being involved in various international projects as well. Your main responsibilities will be to:
Align company goals and policies with the external market situation;
Direct the process of organisational planning (regional structure, job design and resources);
Manage all recruitment, selection, onboarding, training and succession processes;
Lead the annual appraisal, development, bonus and salary review processes;
Develop, manage and maintain accurate and effective HR data systems and processes;
Implement and improve KPIs systems across regional business units and functions;
Manage employee Labour relations ensuring law compliance, considering group and regional standards;
Develop and implement other HR projects that are launched at Group level;
Ensure that Health, Safety & Environment procedures are followed.
Being based in their Rotterdam office, you’ll be working closely with the leadership, commercial and production teams in 3 separate locations. Furthermore, you’ll be managing 1 direct report, while reporting to the HR Director Europe and working in a lean multinational environment within a very flat organizational structure.

As such, you possess a proven ability to guarantee a highly effective and efficient HR support function, while regularly exceeding your stakeholders’ expectations. As a person you are team oriented, result driven and well organised. You’re also known for asking the right questions, taking initiative and ‘getting things done’, while meeting your deadlines and combining in-depth HR expertise with great business sense, excellent leadership understanding and a hands-on approach, if needed.
Other criteria are to also have:
At least 5 years of relevant experience, gained working in an autonomous role as HR Business Partner or Generalist;
Relevant experience in a value-added driven sales and production company is considered as a plus;
A university degree in business or HR related studies;
Excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills, across the board;
Fluent command of the Dutch and English language. German would be an advantage.
